GoGoGorillas Norwich… Odeon Launch
Over the last 12 months we have been working with Break, a local charity dedicated to changing young people’s lives in Norfolk on their GoGoGorillas project. The streets of Norwich will be home to some stunning art installations for the summer of 2013 – 53 hand painted full size gorilla sculptures will create a trail around the city. From Monday 24 June you will be able to explore the trail and see how many spectacular gorillas you can find.
16th of June saw a hand full of the locally sponsored gorillas hit the red carpet outside Norwich’s Odeon cinema. A huge skyscraper with a King Kong hanging from the top was the focal point surrounded by vintage cars, Actors setting the scene, American street furniture, floor art and of course the specially selected GoGoGorialls. COGmedia were on hand to capture the event along with Lee Blanchflower Photography. The 180 invited guests ended up in the Gallery bar of the Odeon for Canapes and wine … Video clip will follow shortly … after we filming the next stage… a 6am start on Sunday morning to film the installation of the 53 full size gorillas. What the space for more!
